NEW ZEALAND – Market research analysis firm Infotools has published a paper on increasing diversity in the insights industry.
The paper, called Represent: Toward a more inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible insights industry, covers a variety of topics on diversity, equity and inclusion issues, including how to avoid “performative diversity”.
Other areas covered include how to measure diversity initiatives, how to increase diversity within supply chains, including surveys with more accessible language and including representative populations, and implementing task forces, original research, support programmes, targeted education and industry resources.
Michael Howard, head of marketing and podcast host at Infotools, said: “There’s an encouraging amount of work already underway, yet there is plenty more to be done.”
