InCrowd parent company acquires SurveyHealthcare Globus

Healthcare M&A News North America

US – Apollo Intelligence Corporation, a portfolio company of Saroras Private Capital, has acquired healthcare data collection and survey firm SurveyHealthcare Globus.

Pharmaceuticals

Apollo was established in 2019, concurrent with Saroras Private Capital’s acquisition of life sciences company InCrowd, to acquire and develop technology-led data and insights businesses in the life sciences and healthcare industries.

Following the acquisition, SHG and InCrowd’s brands will continue to operate separately, as will the companies’ respective teams. The deal will expand Apollo’s access to first-party data.

Dan Fitzgerald, chief executive and president of Apollo, will assume responsibilities for both SHG and InCrowd.

Jerry Arbittier, formerly chief executive of SHG, will remain with the company in a ‘new capacity’ to support the transition of SHG to its new ownership.

Fitzgerald said: "We envision InCrowd and SHG operating as sister brands within Apollo. SHG has been a great partner to InCrowd; we’ve observed their dedication to client excellence first-hand. Jerry Arbittier and his team have established an industry-leading reputation for client service, delivery, and quality and we look to build on these successes as we serve our customers.

"Our investment in SHG will further enable Apollo, and these two brands, to benefit from scale and deeper investment in advanced technology, systems, and research tools."

John Almeida, board chairman, Apollo, added: "We envision that over time, Apollo will build and grow its capabilities to support all of our healthcare and life science clients. We see a significant opportunity in this marketplace."

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
