Wood for Trees works with charities on data tracking and uses insight tools to assess the effectiveness of fundraising activities.

The company is based in Bath, and is the eighth addition to Inc & Co since the collective was set up more than a year ago.

Last week the company bought sports data agency Insight Analysis, and has also recently acquired data firms Skylab, Bass, Neon, Mylife Digital and Cuhu, and laundry delivery platform Laundrapp.

The terms of the acquisition of Wood for Trees has not been disclosed.

Jack Mason, group chief executive at Inc & Co, said: “As the economic fallout of Covid-19 continues to have a devastating impact on traditional fundraising channels, we are pleased to add Wood for Trees into the collective to support charities during this challenging year.

“This addition represents our commitment to both the sector and our goal to help businesses thrive in these difficult times.”

Jay Cromack, managing director at Wood for Trees, said the company was “excited by the breadth of skills and services available to help us develop our current offering” at Inc & Co.

“Wood for Trees has a simple mission to help our clients raise more money for the amazing causes they support, and our new ownership will help build a better future,” he added.
