IGD expands food and grocery research to Asia
Headquartered in Singapore, the service will offer field-based research and analysis on Asian food and grocery retail.
IGD Asia will cover 100 retailers across 18 markets in Asia, with a particular focus on China. It will focus on insights including retail innovation, in-store category excellence and best-practice promotional and seasonal activity.
Louise Spillard, managing director of IGD Asia, said: “The relationships we have built with retailers and suppliers in Asia give us unrivalled access to what’s happening on the ground in the region and allow us to understand the challenges companies face and deliver the right insight and capability.”
