Alex Pearson, Catherine O’Driscoll, Clare Palmer and Helen Greevy are promoted to research director.

Pearson has been with the organisation for 11 years, having joined on the graduate programme. He works across IFF’s Business & Enterprise, Regulation, and Energy & Environment sectors.

Palmer joined the team as an associate director in 2023, leading work in the Health & Wellbeing, Work & Welfare and Housing sectors.

O’Driscoll re-joined the company as an associate director four years ago, after previously working for IFF Research earlier in her career, while Greevy has been with the company since 2017 after joining as a research manager from Ipsos Mori.

The promotions follow IFF’s announcement that it has adopted a four-day working week after a trial.

IFF has also promoted Caitlin Webb, Luke Osborne and Rebecca Neaves from senior research manager to associate director, while Tom Bradley becomes senior research manager.

Elsewhere, Anna Campbell, Aisling O’Connell, Joe Gooding, Katerina Cohnova, Laura Dunbar, Maria Gallagher, Mohsin Uppal, Sophie Renken, and Sophie Harvey-Rich are promoted from senior research executive to research manager.

Chris Green, Oscar Lind, Ed Wilkinson and Zoe Mamode have been appointed as senior research executives, and Reece Savage has been promoted from accounts apprentice to accounts assistant.

Chief executive Jan Shury said: “It’s a real pleasure to be celebrating so many promotions. One of the best parts of my job is watching people grow here over time – seeing their confidence build, knowledge deepen, and careers take shape. We’re big believers in developing people from within, it sits at the heart of our human-first approach. These promotions are a reflection of that in action.”
