Iconoculture appoints former GfK execs to lead European expansion

US— Trendspotting research agency Iconoculture has appointed a new director and senior adviser to oversee its expansion into Europe.

Nick Chiarelli has been appointed as a director to spearhead the firm’s European growth plans, and will be based in London. He joins from GfK Roper Consulting where he spent the last 11 years specialising in global consumer trends and leading strategic product development initiatives.

Another former GfK man, Anders Brogren, will act as a senior adviser to Iconoculture. He was global managing director at GfK Roper Consulting for four years until leaving in January this year. Previously Brogren held senior positions with Sifo (now TNS/RI), TNT and Scandinavian Airlines. He is based in Sweden.

Iconoculture CEO Dan Frawley said: “Iconoculture has built its reputation on delivering the most comprehensive consumer insights to help clients understand what’s going on with consumers, why its happening, and what it means for their business.
