The partnership will see Harnham support In2ScienceUK with its alumni programme, which helps graduates from underprivileged backgrounds with career advice.

Harnham will also provide training webinars, provide online resources, and offer one-to-one and seminar-style coaching sessions as part of its agreement with In2ScienceUK.

The partnership with Women in Data, which operates in the US, will see Harnham offer training webinars, learning resources and a direct referral scheme whereby Women in Data can send Harnham suitable candidates looking to enter the industry.

Harnham said that it would focus particularly on providing more opportunities to women in the data and analytics industry, especially leadership roles.

Dave Farmer, chief executive of Harnham, said: “We believe that the industry won't become more diverse without systemic change and a significant amount of this lies in education, entry-level and future leadership opportunities.”

Rebecca McKelvey, founder and chief executive of In2ScienceUK, said: “We know how important visible role models and leaders are, and we hope this partnership will allow us to build on this important work in diversity and inclusion.”
