US— Granite Broadcasting has ditched Nielsen ratings in four TV markets, choosing instead to sign with International Demographics and its qualitative audience survey The Media Audit.
An International Demographics spokesman told Research that it would be working for Granite in the San Francisco, Detroit, Buffalo and Peoria markets, but was unable to give any further details about the contracts.
A Granite spokeswoman, meanwhile, said she was “aware” of the plan to change ratings suppliers but did not have any further details at the time of publication.
