US— Former Google executive Jag Duggal is to join Quantcast as vice president of product management.

The role spans the development and management of the company’s online audience measurement and targeted display advertising products.

At Google, Duggal was group product manager responsible for the display business. Prior to this, he worked for a decade at management consulting firm Oliver Wyman as principal in the digital and strategy practice, advising executive teams on the development of internet and technology businesses. He is currently on leave from his Masters in Public Administration at Harvard University, which he interrupted to join Google.

Quantcast, meanwhile, was launched in 2006 and monitors web audiences in real-time for a number of US media owners and agencies. It is based in San Francisco and is backed by companies including Founders Fund, Polaris Venture Partners and Cisco Systems.
