AUSTRALIA – Research technology company Glow has appointed Derek Brown as managing director for the Asia-Pacific region.
Brown joins the company from Bastion Collective, where he was general manager of sales for its data collection business Stable Research. Prior to that, he was vice-president of Australia and New Zealand at Research Now SSI (now Dynata).
Based in Sydney, he will lead Glow’s commercial growth in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Founded in 2013, Glow’s real-time research platform accesses 14 million people in Asia-Pacific through a partnership with Dynata.
Tim Clover, founder and chief executive of Glow, said: “Derek brings a wealth of research industry experience to the table, not only in management but also in sales and operational skills. That’s rare and incredibly valuable to our organisation and the direction in which we are heading.”
