GigaOm raises $6m to expand research services

US— Technology publisher and research provider GigaOm has raised $6m in funding to expand its business.

The funding round was led by Reed Elsevier Ventures, with existing investors Alloy Ventures and True Ventures also contributing.

GigaOm provides research on a subscription basis and allows subscribers to engage directly with experts online.
