North America People

US— Lisa Bradner has been named president of Mediabrands-owned hyper-local marketing and media agency Geomentum.

Bradner was previously vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research, specialising in brand strategy and how companies can better engage with customers in online, offline and in-store environments.

Earlier in her career she had spells in the marketing departments at American Express, Sears and Time Inc.

At Geomentum she will lead the firm’s strategic development and client management capabilities across all portfolios, as well as collaborating with Mediabrands and its IPG agency on geography-based marketing projects.

Geomentum CEO Dave Walker said: “Hyper-local has reached the tipping point for consumers, and applying it to marketing is something we are pioneering at Geomentum on behalf of our forward-thinking clients.

“Lisa has the entrepreneurial spirit necessary to lead this industry change, as emerging hyper-local media opportunities present a true paradigm shift for advertisers. Lisa commands enormous respect in our industry and we are pleased to welcome her to Geomentum as part of our leadership team.”

Geomentum launched in August last year.
