US – Global research company Gartner is to acquire Topo, a US research and advisory firm for marketing and sales organisations.
The Topo business will continue to operate separately from Gartner following the deal, with the company’s leadership remaining in their current positions.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2013, Topo is headquartered in Redwood City, California, and has an office in Atlanta, Georgia. The company analyses strategies and tactics of organisations to develop benchmarks across marketing and sales.
In a blog post announcing the news, Craig Rosenburg, co-founder of Topo, said: “Topo will leverage Gartner’s considerable resources and experience to advance our singular focus of helping the world’s best companies grow faster. Our ability to serve and support our clients, now and in the future, has never been stronger.”
