Gartner sees 11% revenue increase

US – Research and advisory company Gartner has increased its revenue by 11% to $922m for the third quarter of the year.

The company said its profit for the period was $12m, while EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) rose by 15% to $149m compared to Q3 2017.

Revenue from the company’s research division was up 11% excluding divested operations to $771m.

Gene Hall, chief executive officer at Gartner, said in the company’s results statement: "Third quarter 2018 continued our trend of double-digit growth in contract value, revenue, and profits, combined with strong cash flow. Our prospects for future growth remain strong."
