Gartner research revenues up 11% in Q3
For the third quarter, total revenue was up 8% to $374.4m from $345.7m. Gartner said that client and wallet retention rates were 83% and 99% respectively, compared to 82% and 100% in the same period last year.
Over the course of the first nine months of the year, research revenue rose 12% from $749.4m to $836.9m. Overall, the company has posted a 10% rise in revenues to $1.141bn for the first nine months of 2012.
Net income for the whole business was also up 3% from $30.4m to $31.4m, and up 17% from $91.8m to $107m for the January to September period.
CEO Gene Hall (pictured) said: “The increases in our revenue and contract value, in addition to maintaining key operating metrics such as client retention at or near all-time highs, illustrate both the strong value we provide our clients and the sizable market opportunity for our services.”
