Funding for Dutch research startup
Northsea was founded by former Bain & Company consultants Nick van Zanten and Geart van Dam. The company works with management consultants, investors and in-house strategy teams.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, Northsea has built an AI-native ‘research assistant’ to automate the customer research process, including survey design, respondent sourcing, data collection and analysis.
Venture capital firm CapitalT led the funding round with business angel investors.
In a LinkedIn post announcing the funding, Northsea said its platform offers “dynamic, interview-style conversations”.
The business said it will use the new funding to expand its team and speed up product development to “bring faster, smarter customer insights to consultants, investors, and corporate teams worldwide”.
