Founded in 2017, California-based AllVoices’ platform allows employees to anonymously share feedback within their organisation, including reporting issues of harassment and bias.

The software includes anonymous two-way communication, a whistleblower hotline, surveys and a case management system, with anonymised data collected and shared with company leadership.

AllVoices will use the financing to offer its customers more channels of communication with employees, grow its platform, build additional automated tools and expand its team.

Claire Schmidt, chief executive and founder, AllVoices, said: "Real-time employee feedback is critical to help companies proactively address workplace issues. When internal channels for this type of feedback are not available, employees have to take more extreme action."

Roger Chen, partner, Silverton Partners, said: "We identified AllVoices as a market leader and reached out to Claire even though they were not seeking funding at the time. We see the immense value in providing companies a way to collect and manage feedback that builds trust with their employees."
