UK— In a hat trick of contract wins, IFM Sports Marketing Surveys (SMS) has been named the official research agency for the Rugby World Cup, the Football Association of Wales (FAW) and the Solheim Cup.
IFM SMS has worked with the FAW before and under the new agreement for the 2011/12 season it will conduct research among the FAW membership, Welsh football fans and international matchgoers.
For the Rugby World Cup, which takes place in New Zealand from 9 September to 23 October, the agency will provide all official figures on global media audiences and sponsor exposure, as it will for the Solheim Cup, a golf tournament held in Ireland on 23–25 September.
