The company has appointed Patricia McGregor (pictured), formerly senior vice-president and group media director at Publicis-owned Starcom, as managing director of FirmDecisions Canada.

Based in Toronto, McGregor will lead the Canadian office, manage the firm’s current clients and grow business. She will work alongside North America managing director Fiona Foy.

In Dubai, FirmDecisions has appointed Stewart Morrison to lead the new office, which will act as a hub for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market. Morrison has previously held senior marketing and procurement roles at Unilever, Sony Music, Nokia and Microsoft.

FirmDecisions also has offices in New York, Paris, Melbourne and Sao Paulo.

The company said Canada and MENA are increasingly important regions for its brand clients, who are looking to achieve more transparency in media trading.

Stephen Broderick, global chief executive of FirmDecisions, said: “I’m really pleased that we’ve attracted such strong leaders for both new offices to help grow our global footprint. They both have great track records of brokering well-constructed commercial agreements and ensuring that commercial partnerships operate as efficiently as possible. This will be critical to help FirmDecisions’ growing client base across the world.”
