Firefish boosts Dutch and US teams

UK — Independent insight consultancy Firefish has appointed Marjolein van Ballegooij as joint managing director of Firefish Netherlands, to work alongside Kees van Duyn.

Van Ballegooij (pictured) previously headed her own research agency and created an online qualitative research tool, Book of Sparks.

Also joining Firefish Netherlands as an associate director is Noor Berkman who was with TNS NIPO previously, where she worked with clients such as Mitsubishi, Maxxium, Perfetti van Melle, Unilever and L’Oreal.

Meanwhile in the US, Francesca Ferrara joins Firefish as senior operations manager and will initially work alongside Firefish co-founder and global CEO Jem Fawcus, who is currently based in New York to oversee the expansion of the US business, and Liam Daley, managing director of Firefish US. Ferrara joins from innovation agency Redscout.

And in London, Claire Flanagan has been appointed as project manager.
