Finnemore leaves Aura

UK – Giles Finnemore, chair of the client-side insight organisation, Aura, has stepped down following his two-year tenure. He will be replaced by Helen James, head of marketing at npower Business.

Finnemore (pictured) has held client insight positions at the British Association for Screen Entertainment and Royal Mail. He is now working as an independent insight consultant.

James has been a long-term member and supporter of Aura and was voted by the council as incoming interim chair. Deputy chair Sarah Whiddett, head of insight and customer experience at Bidvest Foodservice is due to start maternity leave in February.

Whiddett said: “I would like to extend a huge thank you to Giles for all his hard work and dedication to Aura over the past five years. Aura is a volunteer led organisation and Giles has been an invaluable support.

"This is a year of change for Aura and I’m really excited about the ways we can enhance member experience. Thank you to Helen for stepping up as chair while I’m on maternity leave.”
