Filz set to succeed Buchanan as Research Now Asia MD

AUSTRALIA— Martin Filz will take over as managing director for Asia Pacific at online agency Research Now on 1 November.

He replaces current MD Jason Buchanan, who is stepping down after four years in the role to pursue business opportunities in location-based services and mobile and wireless technology. He will continue to act as an adviser to the firm.

Filz (pictured) joined the company earlier this year as head of the client development team for Asia.

Research Now CEO Chris Havemann said: “Martin has made a tremendous impact since joining, bringing a wealth of senior management experience across a number of industries, including online and research.”

On the departing Buchanan, Havemann said: “Jason has played a major role in building our Asia Pacific business into one of the top online fieldwork specialists in the region. Jason is leaving the business in great shape and his legacy will stand Research Now in good stead.”
