Field Notes and Quallie.Ai integrate for video research analysis

Through the integration, researchers will be able to transfer their ethnographic video content from Field Notes into Quallie.Ai.
Quallie.Ai offers tools for qualitative analysis and allows researchers to access and explore data using interactive chats, structured grids and video reels.
The Field Notes research platform is used by researchers to run video diaries in around 40 markets globally. Participants self-record using their smartphones.
Both companies are headquartered in London.
The partnership will bring together digital and face-to-face research in a single, multi-method platform.
Dave Kaye, co-founder, Field Notes, said the companies share the same approach to AI, adding that the move would “make the analysis of rich qualitative data significantly faster, without ever overcomplicating the process for the user”.
Marco Rovagnati, co-founder, Quallie.Ai, said the collaboration brings together platforms “designed for researchers by researchers” who understand the “value of good quality video ethnography”.
