CoLoop offers a tool for AI transcription, translation and primary content analysis, while Field Notes is used by researchers for mobile qualitative work in 40 countries.

The partnership aims to offer faster, simpler qualitative analysis of large volumes of video content.

Through the partnership, researchers will be able to use AI to consolidate content collected across digital and face-to-face methodologies on to one analysis platform.

Dave Kaye, co-founder of Field Notes, said: "This integration represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide researchers with the tools they need to unlock deeper insights from qualitative data, without compromising on video quality."

Jack Bowen, founder, CoLoop, added that the agreement would offer "a powerful combination of speed and quality for ethnographic research".
