US – Audience data business Eyeota has appointed Gil Barzilay as vice-president of global platforms.
Barzilay joins the company from Oracle, where he was director of strategy and partnerships for retail. Prior to that he was director of business development for agencies and trading desks at Oracle Data Cloud, and has held senior leadership roles at Datalogix, Sizmek and Peer39.
Based in New York, Barzilay will lead the growth and development of platform partners, new integrations and channel expansion. He will also be responsible for managing the global account management team.
The hire follows the appointment of Jill Orr as chief operating officer. Orr praised Barzilay’s "experience within the programmatic ecosystem and commitment to long term and mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with our clients".
