Evidence sought for UK data strategy
The government announced last year that it would develop the strategy with the aim of maximising how data is used across government and the wider economy, and increasing citizens’ trust in how data is used.
The strategy is focused on three main areas: people, economy and government.
DCMS is seeking relevant information, studies, statistics, grey literature and metrics from a range of stakeholders, including academics, civil society, bodies representing citizens, smaller businesses and start-ups, and members of the public.
The deadline to submit evidence is 14th July 2019, with a draft strategy due to be published as part of a consultation later in the year.
