Escalent appoints chief human resources officer
Lopez (pictured) will lead the global team of human resources professionals responsible for talent strategies and providing support to attract, recruit and retain a diverse workforce. She will join the company’s executive committee and report into chief executive Melissa Sauter.
Lopez joins Escalent with two decades in HR and leadership, most recently having worked as vice-president of people and culture at TELUS Agriculture, where she led a global team focused on integrating 12 businesses in people and culture programmes.
Her additional roles include serving as vice-president of talent and culture at AFS Technologies and working at 4th Source, a technology consulting service, where she led a global team and developed automated talent acquisition programmes.
Lopez has also held HR leadership positions across hospitality, healthcare and non-profit sectors.
“Laura is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in all facets of global HR,” said Sauter.
“Escalent’s success is driven by extraordinary people across the globe, and we are confident that her leadership will nurture our culture and employees. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.”
