TURKEY— Paco Underhill’s consumer behaviour research and consulting firm Envirosell has opened an office in Istanbul, which will be led by former Samsung executive Melik Karabiyikoglu.
Karabiyikoglu (pictured) was Samsung’s telecoms channel manager in the country and will lead the office offering marketing and sales consultancies to Turkish companies.
Prior to his time at Samsung, he held senior roles at Eagle Mobile, Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri and Frito Lay.
The move comes five months after HPI became shopper behaviour firm Envirosell’s licensee in the UK. Envirosell has been in business for more than 25 years and also has offices in the US, Japan, Korea, Italy, Mexico, Thailand and India. Clients include KFC, Estee Lauder and Selfridges.
