Effective Measure CEO departs, co-founder returns to Australia
James Robertson and Richard Webb
He will be replaced on an interim basis by Effective Measure chairman Hugh Browne. In a statement, the firm said: “As a founding investor and director of the company, Webb will continue to be an active stakeholder in Effective Measure’s evolution.”
Webb joined Effective Measure’s board in 2008 following stints with Red Sheriff and Nielsen NetRatings. At Red Sheriff, he worked with James Robertson, Effective Measure’s co-founder.
Alongside Webb’s departure, it was announced that Robertson would be returning to Effective Measure’s Australian HQ to become chief revenue officer, a new position, after several years spent growing the business internationally.
“The creation of the new chief revenue officer role marks a new phase of development for the company as it consolidates and capitalises on its rapid geographic growth over the last 18 months and focuses on delivering compelling product solutions to the media measurement market,” the firm said.
