Eastlan ratings to cover former Arbitron markets

US— Eastlan Ratings is to begin providing radio ratings this autumn for two markets no longer covered by Arbitron’s audience measurement service.

Data on listening habits in the Wilmington NC and Saginaw/Bay City/Midland MI markets will be collected using a random telephone recall methodology.

Brian Schimmel, market manager at Sunrise Broadcasting in Wilmington, said: “Having reliable audience research in this day and age is vital. Eastlan provides this at an affordable rate. I’ve been watching Eastlan’s growth over the past decade and feel comfortable with their product in this market.”

Eastlan was formed in 1999 and provides audience figures for 90 markets across the US and has more than 450 subscribing stations.
