NETHERLANDS— The organisations conducting research for radio, print, internet and TV in the Netherlands have come together to establish a single cross-media survey.
RAB, NOM, STIR and SKO have jointly created the Media Standard Survey (MSS), which will start publishing data next year. The survey will form the source of census information on media ownership and behaviour in the Netherlands.
The MSS has signed up TNS Dutch subsidiary, TNS NIPO, to conduct the research.
Although the four organisations have worked with each other on various projects in the past, this is the first time all four have come together to create a single survey. They have been working towards standardisation of their weighting and recruitment procedures since 2007.
