UK— Shaendel Hallett, global customer insight director for DSG International – owner of electronics retailers Currys, PC World and Dixons – has joined Opinion Leader as client services director.
Hallett has also worked for the Post Office and Parcelforce Worldwide, and on the agency side with HPI and Hall & Partners.
She joins Opinion Leader alongside former GfK NOP qual director Michael Thompson, who takes up the role of research director. Before GfK NOP Thompson worked for Andrew Irving Associates (now Optimisa Research).
Opinion Leader is part of Chime Communications’ research and engagement division, which earlier this week bought fieldwork business Acefieldwork.
Division CEO Crispin Beale said of the new hires: “We are delighted to see talented individuals like Michael and Shaendel join Opinion Leader. The business is expanding significantly and the expertise they bring will further bolster our impressive offering.”
