UK— Disney Interactive Media Group has ended its Family Panel partnership with research agency Opinion Matters following the closure of its family-orientated UK websites Raisingkids.co.uk and UKfamily.co.uk.
The two companies launched the panel in August, having recruited around 10,000 parents through the now-defunct Disney websites.
Opinion Matters director Nik Harta (pictured) told Research the company would continue to operate a panel of parents whose children are aged under 18, but with respondents recruited through other sources.
Disney could not be reached for comment. Visitors to either Raisingkids.co.uk and UKfamily.co.uk are now directed to the company’s US site, Family.com.
