Data science consultancy Ekimetrics expands UK team
Virgin Media O2’s Laura Mansell (pictured) and Capita’s Karin Sasaki join the team as senior manager and senior consultant, respectively. They will help develop and deliver data science solutions for clients including application development, data architecture and Media Mix Optimisation (MMO).
Mansell has eight years’ experience working on marketing effectiveness, social media and marcomms campaigns at Virgin Media O2. She will provide support to clients and help embed Ekimetrics Media Mix Modelling (MMM) tools.
Sasaki has a PhD in mathematics and five years’ experience in data modelling and analysis for business and academia. She has worked with a variety of data, from business operations and strategy to molecular biology. She previously held data scientist positions at Capita and Kantar.
Commenting on the new appointments, Matt Andrew, UK managing director at Ekimetrics, said: “We’ve seen significant growth over the last 12 months, so we’re starting the year the way we mean to go on.
