DACH expansion for Artefact
The acquisition, for an undisclosed amount, will help build on recent Artefact expansion in DACH, including a new office in Munich and Niels Thomsen joining as partner at Artefact Germany.
Artefact said the acquisition would help Explorate AI expand its training programmes internationally.
Explorate AI was set up in Berlin in 2019 by Stephan Matzka, Felix Wendler and Dennis Bogenand, and is partnered with leading academies in DACH, training 5,000 professionals annually in AI skills.
Vincent Luciani, co-founder and executive chairman at Artefact, said: “We plan to expand rapidly in Germany in the next five years, and this partnership reflects our commitment to accelerating our development in the DACH region and Europe.”
Professor Dr Stephan Matzka, managing director at Explorate AI, added: “Joining forces with Artefact marks an exciting chapter for Explorate AI. Artefact’s global reach and end-to-end data and AI consulting offering will allow us to expand our mission of accelerating responsible AI adoption through education, adoption and transformation.
“We are now better positioned to serve our German clients across their entire international footprint and operations.”
