The network, called the Research management Helix and which will be launched at the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) conference in Prague this week, will allow users to access best practice, training, support and accreditation.

The Research Management Helix will also act as a networking and collaboration hub for market research management professionals to share new ideas, knowledge and methodologies.

The helix is part of the RM Roadmap project – a three-year project to set out a pan-European community of research management – and is funded by Horizon Europe.

Anyone involved in research management activities will be eligible to join the Research Management Helix, with membership free and 180 organisations, including universities, already members.

Michael Browne, chief executive at Crowdhelix, said that the RM Roadmap project and the Research Management Helix will help shape the future of the research management profession.

“The Research Management Helix will bring together research managers from across the European Research Area to collaborate and help shape the research management profession across the European Union and beyond.

“Crowdhelix’s unique ability to build knowledge hubs and communities of ambitious research and industry experts makes our platform the ideal location for research management professionals to shape the future of their careers and their profession more generally.”
