US – Equity research and alternative data firm Consumer Edge Research has launched a data insights suite called CE-Q.
The consumer insights platform has been developed for use by clients including institutional investors, private equity, venture capital, consulting firms and investment banks.
It includes credit and debit card transactional data from around 3,000 brands as part of the company’s CE Transact dataset, aiding research on consumer spending habits.
Bill Pecoriello, founder and chief executive of Consumer Edge, said: "With CE-Q, conducting proprietary research for brand or category-specific theses on the most advantaged consumer-oriented data sets is a possibility for everyone. CE-Q integrates an expanding set of linked datasets as well as new analytic modules which will roll out continuously.”
