US – Brent Rosenthal, lead director at media evaluation firm Comscore, will retire from the company’s board of directors later this year.
Rosenthal stepped down as non-executive chairman of the board in 2022, having held the role since 2018, and will not stand for re-election to the company’s board at the 2024 annual meeting of stockholders.
Rosenthal was previously a member of Rentrak’s board of directors between 2008 and 2016, including as non-executive chairman between 2011 and 2016, prior to its merger with Comscore in 2016, after which Rosenthal served on Comscore’s board.
Jon Carpenter, chief executive officer at Comscore, will be nominated by the company to join the board this year.
Comscore board chairman Nana Banerjee said: “On behalf of the board, I thank Brent for his many contributions to Comscore.
“As chairman and now lead director, Brent has been a strong independent voice and pushed strategically and operationally to capitalise on the enormous cross-platform video consumption opportunity.”
