Commetric picks former GMI VP for CEO role
Walter (pictured) joins the company with a new board behind him, comprising of chairman and Commetric founder Christofer Solheim, his co-founder Tony Burgess-Webb, formerly global CMO with Hill & Knowlton, Mark Firth, ex PwC, who joined Commetric as CFO in 2013, and Chris Shaw, the former CEO and Factiva/Dow-Jones veteran.
Commetric was established in 2005 and works with global brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung and Verizon to provide customised media and social media analytics.
Solheim said: “We’re already growing rapidly and Dietmar has exactly the right experience and drive to accelerate the global expansion of our business and take our advanced analytics offerings into new markets.”
