The ‘Social Commerce’ solution offers brands and retailers insights on the social media commerce landscape by combining volumetric, sentiment and engagement metrics.

Social commerce refers to the selling of products or services directly within social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and the space is growing quickly.

Circana’s new offer includes measurement of market performance and tracking of product performance; pricing and competitive dynamics; shop performance analysis and consumer engagement insights.

Brands and retailers can use it to identify trends and fast-growing segments.

Jeremy Allen, chief commercial officer at Circana, said: “Our clients need a reliable way to measure performance, understand trends and capitalise on the immense opportunity within this space.”
