Change of name for media control GfK International
GfK Entertainment is a partner to the entertainment industry and delivers charts and market information for books, games, videos and cinema attendance.
The new name reflects an “expanded product range”, taking into account new digital distribution channels and the evolution of communication through social media. The press release states that the rebrand “also brings clarity in an ongoing dispute with the former shareholder of media control GFK International.”
“Under the new brand GfK Entertainment, we will continue to work closely with our partners as we have done over the past ten years and provide insights into the entertainment industry in order to optimally support our customers,” said Mathias Giloth, MD of GfK Entertainment (pictured).
