GERMANY — Ebiquity’s Mathias Giloth (pictured) has been named as the new managing director of Media Control GfK International, replacing Ulrike Altig, who is leaving the company in July “at her own request”, the company says.
Altig has been MD of the media sales data company company since 2003, when the joint venture between Media Control and GfK was first established. News of her departure comes just three months after GfK took full control of the business.
Giloth, meanwhile, was most recently managing director of Ebiquity Germany, where his responsibilities included operations as well as the product, innovation and online strategies for ad monitoring. In the past, he has worked for companies including BBDO Consulting, Siemens Mobile and Thomson Media Control.
