Centaur CEO steps down
Vidler (pictured) will be succeeded by the company’s chief financial officer Swag Mukerji. She will work with Mukerji for a transition period before leaving on 30th September.
Vidler was appointed CEO of Centaur in November 2013. During her time at the company, she reorganised the marketing division, oversaw the acquisitions of MarketMakers and Oystercatchers and led a disposal programme in 2018, raising over £20m.
Prior to joining Centaur in 2016, Mukerji held senior finance and general management positions with FMCG companies including United Biscuits, Guinness and Virgin.
The company has begun a search for a new chief financial officer. Mukerji will oversee finance until a new appointment has been made.
Colin Jones, chairman of Centaur, said: “Andria has been a driving force in the transformation of Centaur and I, and the rest of the board, would like to thank her for the valuable contribution she has made to the company’s development.
“Swag’s important role in Centaur’s transformation and comprehensive understanding of the company will be of great benefit in ensuring continuity and delivering value to shareholders.”
