Carphone Warehouse picks Face for social media task
The project will be handled by Face’s recently launched Face Wired team who will use The Carphone Warehouse’s social media presence to plan, foster and manage brand-consumer collaboration.
Francesco D’Orazio (pictured), head of Face Wired, said: “We are using Pulsar, our proprietary social media monitoring technology, to map, analyse and measure the buzz about the Carphone Warehouse brand and the… perceptions associated with it.
“Pulsar, unlike ordinary social media tools, not only monitors and tracks but provides a visibility index weighting that measures the influence of the different conversations taking place.”
The Carphone Warehouse’s brand and advertising manager, Kay Parkinson, said: “We already use Twitter to communicate with customers, answer questions and deal with any issues but decided to work with Face Wired because we wanted to engage more with our customers through social media.”
