FRANCE – Market research technology and services firm Bilendi has expanded its artificial intelligence research tool Bari to cover quantitative research projects.
Bari already operates in qualitative research to support tasks such as moderation and summarising and analysing collected data, but the latest update will allow Bari to take on quantitative tasks such as analysing open-ended questions.
Bilendi said that Bari would ask relevant follow-up questions to participants’ answers, specific to the conversation, with the tool able to communicate in more than 20 languages.
Bari will also check participants’ answers to open-ended questions to maintain authenticity and relevance and will also suggest coding plans for verbatim answers.
In addition, Bari will allow researchers to carry out more in-depth research of a specific sub-group by inviting participants for further research, including via social messaging platforms.
Marc Bidou (pictured), chief executive and founder at Bilendi, said: “Clients often ask when our AI-powered research assistant will be available for quantitative projects. Today, we are happy to announce the launch of ‘AI for quant’, which incorporates Bari’s skills.
“Utilising Bari’s capabilities in quantitative, as well as qualitative surveys, was a logical step in our strategy of using innovative technology to provide qualitative research solutions to our clients. AI is an important component. We are constantly working on further developments and will soon be able to present further innovations.”
