Bilendi & respondi expands into UX with Tandemz deal
Co-founded in Paris in 2020 by UX engineers Marine Wolffhugel, France Wang, and Nicolas Djambazian, Tandemz is a self-service recruiting platform, used to source research participants for client interviews, usability tests and surveys.
Tandemz has a community of around 30,000 testers across various countries globally.
The acquisition will expand Bilendi & respondi’s expertise to include UX research, while Tandemz will be able to access Bilendi & respondi’s online panellists across 15 European countries.
Bilendi & respondi said it plans to use its AI offer to support further development of Tandemz’s UX-testing services.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bilendi acquired Respondi in 2021, and also bought insight platform Discussnow in the same year.
Marc Bidou, chief executive and founder, Bilendi (pictured), said: “This operation marks our entry into a strategic sector of the market research industry: UX research. In just four years, Tandemz has become a recognised player in its field. We look forward to leveraging Tandemz’s expertise in UX to enhance its panels and technologies, as well as to improve the offerings provided to our clients.”
Marine Wolffhugel, chief executive and founder, Tandemz, added: “We are convinced that this alliance will enhance our ability to innovate, better meet the needs of our clients, and accelerate our growth in a rapidly expanding market.”
