US— Music audience measurement firm BigChampagne has overhauled its BC Dash reporting tool with the aim of giving users more flexibility in how sales, download and streaming charts are displayed and analysed.
The dashboard allows the importing of data from several sources, including online stores such as iTunes, social networks including Last.fm and MySpace and internet radio stations such as Yahoo Music.
Individual data modules can be expanded for more detail on a song’s popularity on that particular channel, while the success of individual artists and their hits can also be tracked across media and retail outlets.
“We’re always working to truly reinvent the charts, putting everything in one place and creating a single source for the most relevant metrics,” said Eric Garland, co-founder and CEO of the Beverly Hills-based firm.
