Hogg (pictured) was previously managing director of Northern Europe, sales at Research Now and prior to that worked for eRewards which was bought by Research Now.

Hogg, who will be based in Lucid’s London office, said: “Lucid has built upon game-changing in the research space to create a truly global audience platform with potential to influence multiple industries. I look forward to being part of Lucid’s international expansion and to showing clients how our software can significantly improve their margins, streamline their processes, and in using our Proof suite of products, gobeyond the survey to monitor and improve advertising campaigns.”

Lucid CEO Patrick Comer said: “Lucid has doubled in size and revenue since the beginning of 2015, and we’re on pace to break that in 2016. To continue super-serving our partners and expand internationally at this pace and more, we needed a powerhouse leader in EMEA. Ben’s that person. He knows what it takes to develop our products across Europe and beyond.”

Along with Hogg’s appointment, Andy Ellis, president of Lucid’s Fulcrum and Federated Sample business units, has been made chief operating officer. Brett Schnittlich, Lucid’s chief technology officer, has been made president and CTO, Lucid.
