Behaviorally’s first Australian office will be located in Melbourne. The firm already has offices across Asia-Pacific in Singapore and Shanghai with plans to open additional offices across the region, including in Thailand and the Philippines.

Gilbert (pictured) brings more than 13 years’ extensive experience delivering retail and shopper strategy, specifically serving clients in the fast-moving consumer goods sectors across Asia-Pacific and Europe.

Prior to joining Behaviorally, Gilbert was the shopper lead in Asia-Pacific for NielsenIQ in Melbourne. He has also held leadership roles at Focus Insights and IGD.

Commenting on the appointment, Behaviorally’s group president, Crispin Beale said: “We are thrilled to have Liam join our team and help us grow our Asia-Pacific footprint, in Australia specifically. Asia tends to lead the world in shopper innovations and Liam’s expertise in retail and shopper marketing makes him the ideal addition to the team to grow our presence and implement our vision in this region.

“Having personally worked in both Melbourne and Sydney in the past, I am delighted to be back in Australia with a compelling offer to deliver both our existing and new clients’ commercial success.”
