UK — Basis Research has hired Lynsey Showman to lead its quantitative team and oversee the firm’s in-house data process and analytics team.
Showman (pictured) joins from 2CV where she was head of quant and also served as group research director for seven years. Before that, she was a research manager at Research International.
As head of quant at Basis, she will lead a 12-strong team of quantitative researchers.
Basis managing director Rune Mortensen said: “We are delighted to announce that Lynsey is joining Basis. Our quantitative team has grown considerably by combining best in class quant expertise with clear, engaging and creative outputs. Lynsey brings with her exactly the right skills to lead this team as it continues to grow in the future.”
